FREE entertainment guaranteed on the waterfront of the two IRs!

The Sentosa IR will be pulling out all of the stops with a show; absolutely, no-doubt-about-it guaranteed to thrill even the most jaded of audiences. Crane-like structures will be put in motion nightly to create a carefully choreographed piece, all with spectacular music and special effects. Pampered audiences will be able to attend this marvel from the Vivo City Mall and from The Showplace, a luxurious seating area along the waterfront on the Sentosa IR side.

Not to be outdone, Marina Bay, MBS will offer outdoor entertainment as well. During the day, the Marina Bay waterfront will be a literal springtime blossom of life bringing an array of breathtaking events for young and old alike.

Just outside Dome 3, there will be four fascinating crystal pavilions appearing as if they are floating on water. An underground tunnel will link Dome 3 (which will house most MICE facilities), to the pavilions containing a cafe, two clubs and a river taxi stop.

The promenade facing the bay between Dome 2 and Dome 3 will have an events plaza with a flat stage which almost magically can be converted by a push of a button into an amphitheatre with tiered steps. This architectural wonder, named the “Event Plaza?will be able to accommodate up to 10,000 people!

At night, the rooftop of the ArtScience museum metamorphoses into an amphitheatre capable of seating 3,000 people. Audiences will enjoy sound, light and laser shows as well as fireworks using some of the city’s greatest skyscrapers as their backdrop. This nightly Light and Water extravaganza can also be viewed from the waterfront promenade, the Merlion Pier and the Esplanade Theatres.
