As our esteemed readers already know, Resorts World at Sentosa will soon become the birthplace for South-east Asia’s one and only Universal Studios Singapore. This theme park will be larger than its sister park based in Hollywood and will, in fact, be RWS’s main crowd puller.

Singaporedice can confirm that within that monumental park the blockbuster movie "Transformers" is going to be developed as one of the theme park’s attractions available to fun-seeking visitors. This latest attraction will make its Singapore debut before the summer of 2011.

Tan Hee Teck, Chief Executive Officer of Resorts World at Sentosa, the mega resort that is home to Universal Studios Singapore, said: "It is great that Asia will be the launch pad for the first Transformers attraction. Transformers was introduced to the United States in 1983 but traces its roots to Asia. Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Megatron are familiar names to Asian audiences, who grew up with the robot toys and love the movie. When Transformers opens in Universal Studios Singapore in 2011, it will be the first of its kind in the world. We may see a surge of Transformers mania.’’

It is certain to be an amazing addition to an already amazing park. How do we know? Well, first off, “Transformers?is being created in partnership between Universal Parks & Resorts, Hasbro and DreamWorks.

As if that weren’t enough, the great man himself, movie director master Steven Spielberg, is acting as creative consultant to Universal Studios Theme Parks for several of its main attractions!

Spectacular action and special effects are guaranteed to add to the already planned 24 themed attractions. “Transformers?is a fusion of 3D-HD media, ultra-modern robotics and the sort of unbelievable special effects we’ve come to expect from the greatest Hollywood Blockbusters.

Universal Singapore will certainly not disappoint when we talk computer animation.

Visitors can choose from at least six themed worlds within Universal Studios Singapore, namely: The Big Apple, The Lost World, Egypt, Hollywood Boulevard, Super Hero City and DreamWorks. This is great fun for young and old alike!
